MSI 2021 Group Stage Day 6 - Tease

Anything can happen today in MSI 2021s Group C! A perfect storm of possibilities has led us to a point where 3 teams could grab the second place seed into the Rumble Stage: Cloud9, DetonatioN FocusMe and Infinity Gillette. Today could change every assumption we have about the international stage forever.

Cloud9 is coming in with a heavy burden on their back. With a stellar roster no one doubted they would make it out of the Group Stage when the tournament started. Now theyre in a position where they need to play it safe to guarantee their spot and thats something their rivals could exploit.

DetonatioN FocusMe is perhaps the biggest surprise in the tournament. Theyre the only team that has even come close to taking down the World Champions DWG KIA and their victory against Cloud9 is proof theyre serious contenders. Today, they can make history for the LJL and upset the international stage of LoL Esports.

Infinity Gillette might not seem like much of a threat on standings, but they did manage to secure a victory against DetonatioN FocusMe so at the very least, they can create some havoc on their rivals chances to make it out of the Group Stage. Secure a perfect run and they could still squeeze into the next stage of the tournament.

Last, but certainly not least we have DWG KIA. They have nothing to lose, but that doesnt mean theyll grant any advantage to their rivals. After getting close to losing against DFM theyll have their guard up this time around. Good luck trying to take down this LCK Powerhouse.
