Sometimes little things in life can help You deal with great losses... The way Ivy, my Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, carefully walks around her enclosure is just adorable, but I hate to stress her out, so I only pointed a camera lense at her for such time :-) She wont cure my depression, but for sure she brings this spark of little light into my darkness... I did my best to show the life and tragic fate of the character in a video, without it being too boring :-) Im sorry if I failed :-( The actress did a great job, You can almost feel the fear when the character is scared, or pain, when she is suffering. Just like in the case of Midorri Francis in The Birch, this is how You can recognise a good actor - the emotions they show seem real, even if only acted. I did my best to make it move around its nest area even when it went from my hands onto my desk, so it can feel safe :-) Its successfully back in the enclosure and in its nest again. The handling was sort of enrichment for the spider from my part, I took it for the first time since it build its nest, so it can feel various different structures under its legs and habituate with the change of environment. Its eating like crazy, but no significant growth yet and no molt so far.
