The miatas power steering rack has been leaking for a while, leaving stains everywhere she goes. My options are: replace the rack, which is a few hundred bucks and not readily available at the moment; buy a used one, which is still gonna cost around $100; or rebuild the seals in the rack myself with a seal kit for $30 dollars. Today, Im taking the cheap road and were going to try to rebuild this old power steering rack. What could go wrong?
