Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2) was released as a single, Pink Floyds first in the UK since Point Me at the Sky (1968). It was Pink Floyds only number-one hit in the United Kingdom, the United States, West Germany and several other countries except Australia. It was also the final Christmas number one of the decade in the UK. In the US, it reached number 57 on the disco chart.[12] The single sold over 4 million copies worldwide.[3]
