A group of kangaroos stop a driver from passing through a Melbourne suburb as they hop across the road.

Filmed on September 5 (the date shown in the dashcam is incorrect), the motorist comes to a halt as several kangaroos casually hop across the road.

The filmer, Nick Briant, told Newsflare: Just utter surprise, there are kangaroos around our area but to see a whole pack in formation cruising down the road was a shock.

Yes, theyre around but rarely in such large groups moving down a road together. They are usually only out at dusk/night and spend time in paddocks.
